The fixtures equipped with smart street lights onsite controller that creates a private mesh network for communication. The PoE smart street lighting system allows total coverage over the entire area upto 25 km between poles and an almost unimited number of connected poles and devices on a single network. The information collected by the PoE smart street lights fixtures transmits data through the network towards the primary gateway, or control units located in the territory, typically in correspondence with electrical panels or in more favourable positions for communication, which send the data received from the smart street light node to the cloud software platform. Furthermore, the activation commands of different lighting scenarios can be propagated in real-time from the control software to the gateways, then to the nodes at the smart street lighting fixtures.
